Golden Milk is not just a trendy drink, but actually a drink with a long tradition. It originally comes from South Asia and has a permanent place in Ayurvedic cuisine there. The main ingredient, turmeric, gives the milk its special golden yellow color and its spicy, slightly spicy taste.

Turmeric is a species of plant within the ginger family. It is a herbaceous plant with an underground shoot, also called yellow saffron. Turmeric has been known in India for over 4,000 years and is one of the most important spices there. In addition to turmeric, ginger, pepper, ashwagandha, nutmeg and cinnamon are other components of the spice mixture.

Preparation**:**

Pour 2 teaspoons per cup with 250ml warm milk, stir and enjoy.
