How do we define sustainability at Green Cloud Nine?

For us, sustainability means to use natural, social and economic resources in a way that allows us to meet our needs, but also respects the right of future generations to cover their own.

To be fair & transparent to our customers and vendors, we adopt a holistic approach which considers both the producer and the product:

Our vendors are expected to be sustainable at human, social, economic and environmental levels. In their shop, customers will be able to review their certifications as well as the description of their production processes.

Also, to ensure consistency, we have defined 11 product sustainability categories. Each product must comply with at least two of the categories below:

Can anybody sell in Green Cloud Nine?

No. Only vendors who offer sustainable products and demonstrate a commitment to sustainable practices are allowed on our platform. Currently, we only consider applications from EU vendors.

What is the Green Cloud Nine Sustainability check?

If you do not have any sustainability, quality or corporate social responsibility certifications, you have the option to complete a free sustainability check that evaluates your commitment to sustainable business practices. 

Those who complete it satisfactorily, will get the Green Cloud Nine Sustainability badge.

Is there a minimum contract permanence?

No. You can stay with us as long as you please and cancel your monthly subscription plan anytime (conditions apply).

Do I need to sell internationally?

No, you decide if you sell only locally or internationally. If you want to sell in other countries, you need to enter your shop and product information also in English. Be sure to check the VAT rules applicable in your case.

How does it work with the shipment of goods?

Each vendor takes care of packing and shipping the order to their customers. 

For local deliveries (within a 150km radius) you should deliver CO2 neutral. For international shipments we will offer customers the possibility to compensate for the additional emissions through CO2 certificates. If you have questions, please contact us.
